I wanted to wish you all Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas :)

Christmas decoration

One of my favourite thing to do is going through Christmas catalogues during the season.

Candy canes...

...and marshmallows are such a treat with a cup of hot cocoa.

Little Christmas bear

Tangerines always have a place in our home.

Candles can create a lovely and festive evening.

Cup of tea...

...or hot cocoa.  I must have one of these every night :)
As promised here is Christmas decoration post. It may not be exactly as imagined but here are some bits of what I like having around when it's Christmas season.

Also, I've made a Youtube channel and my first video (Quick Hot Cocoa Recipe) is already uploaded. If you care to see it, here's the link:

What is your favourite decoration? And what is your favourite beverage during holiday season?

Until next time,

New in: Dove Nourishing Oil Care Detangler

Dove Hair Nourishing Oil Care Detangler acts as a gentle leave-in conditioning spray with a dual-phase formula. It's a blend of Dove Weightless Nutri-Oils, enriched with Argan Oil. It nourish to help instantly detangle and replenish lost nutrients for soft, manageable hair.
It is meant to transform dry, rough and frizzy hair into beautifully smooth hair that is easier to manage and style.

You need to shake the bottle for the mixture to blend together and then spray it on your damp or dry hair. I use it on my dry hair, as a detangler and to nourish my dry hair. As a detangler it works beautifully but as a nourishing spray it works fine if I apply the content every now and then during the day. It absorbs quickly so I would recommend this product only as a great detangle-working miracle (if your hair is perfectly healthy the product might give you shiny and soft hair as well but my hair is very dry and I need something stronger). The bottle contains 200 ml which can last for a very long time. Also, the scent that leaves behind will turn heads around- a fraction of coconut.

Prize (in Müller drugstore): 3,69 €

Next up: Christmas decor in my room
Stay tuned :)

December Smile

Photo from Picmonkey

As it is the first day of December I made a special post including three topics (3-in-1 post): Christmas movie selection, Christmas song selection and my Christmas wishlist. I hope I can get you in Christmas spirit with this ;) For each section I wrote one question, I am just so curious about your favourites this month! :)

10 Christmas movies

1. It's a Wonderful Life (1946)- An angel shows a businessman how life would turn out if he never existed.

Animated movies
2. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)- Jack Skellington gets from Halloweentown to Christmas Town.
3. Arthur Christmas (2011)- Santa's youngest son goes for a rescue mission.
4. The Polar Express (2004)- A boy boards a magical train to visit North Pole.

5. Four Christmases (2008)- One couple. Four divorced parents. Four Christmases.
6. Home Alone 1 & 2 (1990 & 1992)- Kevin is left alone. Twice.
7. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)- Grinch wants to take a revenge on a nearby village by stealing Christmas.
8. The Christmas Cottage (2008)- An artist wants to help his mother to save a family house.
9. Christmas Angel (2009)- A story about helping secret Santa.
10. Elf (2003)- A man raised as an elf is sent on a journey to find out who he really is.

My ten Christmas movies choice is not nearly enough to embrace all good movies out there. There are few of seasonal movies from series like Shrek the Halls (2007) and quite new ones I haven't seen yet like The Nutcracker in 3D (2010).

What is your favourite Christmas movie?

10 Christmas songs

2. Train - Shake Up Christmas
3. Frank Sinatra - Santa Claus Is Coming to Town

I'm sure these songs are familiar to all of you (mostly from watching Home Alone). And not to mention there is an entire album of Michael Bublé, full of Christmas songs! If you have a chance, check it out. I think it'll be my favourite this month.

Are any of these your favourites?

2. Lauren Conrad- Style. Yes, I own Beauty but not Style. How inappropriate ;) (from only 10,17 €)

Until next time.

Please excuse my no-make-up face in the photos

Jumper: Primark
Jeans: Primark
Jacket: G Star
Necklace: BikBok
Bag: old
Boots: Jello

As you all have probably read uncountless blog posts about bad, cold and gray weather lately, therefore I won't be bothering you about it ;) I'm just satisfied when it's not raining, gray or not gray.

I wanted to try on new clothes from Primark, at least peach(y) jumper and printed jeans. Everything suits me fine since I hadn't had any time to try on the clothes in the shop- I consider that extremly lucky since most of the clothes (almost) never suit me. I'm just tiny and usually clothes look drapy on me.

Do you have similar problems when trying the clothes on in the shop?

Until next post,

Beauty Feast

I 'nicked' Tesco and Boots Christmas Gift Guides for inspiration and ideas. Now I'm hooked ;)

I'm late on showing you magazines freebies I got whilst in London. Considering this month's magazines are already out! But the point are products and I thought it would be great to share them with you. In first magazine (Company) I got two nailpolishes from Company brand itself. I'm always fond of new nail varnish.

It's a shame I just found out about this brand of skincare products (but suddenly I keep coming across blog posts about REN Skincare). I'm glad I came across it though. It is one of the best facial care I ever tried. When I first used Cleansing Milk (photo above) my skin felt calm and purified. That day I haven't had any make-up on and yet only after use of Cleansing Milk I truly had clean and refreshed face.
As goes for Day cream, it made my skin soft for the next (two) day(s)- without reuse in those two days. The products leave quite a lovely scent afterwards. Firstly, it reminded me of pharmacy then of baby products. You would think: "All right, not exactly what I want to smell of." But the scent is gentle and it contains a  fraction of chamomile.
As goes for using Day Cream and Cleansing Milk I use a small proportion on my hands. I rub it gently between my hands and then apply (and massage) onto my face. The same goes for Eye Gel, except you apply small amount around the eye area. With Day Cream you wait untill absorbed. And with Cleansing Milk you rinse it off with (warm) water. My skin feels absolutely hydrated and soothed afterwards, just like described :)

Little extra: I picked up two Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks. Shade 110 is orange (not shown well on photos) and shade 01 is a bit dark red. Both exceeded my expectations. They are matte and longlasting- by far two most important qualities I seek in lipstick :)

What do you pay attention to when buying lipstick?

See you soon! Until then,

I got a few magazines and with that, freebies! I will show you everything in a good time :)

Hair masks

1) Profi Line Hair Culture(3,49 €)
= is meant for damaged and dry hair. It is supposed to repair and restore your damaged hair back to healthy. It should also provide easy combing, bigger volume and shine. You suppose to apply it to damp hair, leave it on for about 1 minute and then rinse it off. The package contains 250 ml of hair mask and it's practical- easy to use and it allows you to scoop every last drop of hair mask. I've been using Hair Culture hair mask for about a month now. I started to see the results after two, three uses. My hair is pretty dry, not really damaged. Hair mask works all right, it provides volume and my hair feels very soft after shower. However, it does not exactly restore my hair to its previous (healthy) state. I should say it is a very good product, meant for normal to dry hair, just not very dry. 2) Garnier Fructis Intense Repair Mask- Goodbye Damage (4,90 €)= a mask that should reverse almost one year of damage in one week. It says your hair should have ten times stronger lenghts and four times fewer split- ends. This hair mask also has the same application just the time differs. You apply the mask on your damp hair, leave it on for about 3 minutes and then rinse it off. I used it only two or three times. I noticed the same results- better volume, very soft and detangled hair. The second or third use might made my hair less dry. It's not exactly visible repair, not just yet anyway. Both masks are good products (especially for that price) and I cannot expect tremendous results from them, at least not without a good or matching complementary products (shampoo/conditioner/oil/etc.) or in such a short time.

Let me know which products do you use for your hair :) I'll see you in a week or so since I'll be leaving for London soon. And I promise to post more outfit posts in the future :) xoxoMaja

Goodies from Sweden #BikBok

I found out about BikBok through Scandinavian bloggers just like some other shops (Gina Tricot, Acne, Even though I went through lots and lots of stores while I was in Sweden, my main goal was to go to BikBok for a specific item and that was a very lovely bag/clutch from MK Collection. First time I went to a store I said 'I still have plenty of time (days) for this to purchase, I'll return another day'. And when that day came, the store I went to (it was another BikBok, in another location) apparently didn't stock limited collections, only regular pieces. Just my luck. However, I did purchase a few other items (for a consolation price). I was really glad I came across those amazing pants, which are leggings in reality. The thing is, I don't exactly like wearing leggings (for a few reasons), but these ones are made from thick material and they don't seem like ordinary pair of leggings. And talk about prints, this baroque print is another reason I bought the piece. And because BikBok had sales at the time. I got these 50 % off; they were around 130 SEK (cca. 15 €).
Another thing- jewellery. The red- detailed ones came together and were 99 SEK (cca. 11 €). The silver chain one (bracelet) and the matching necklace were 70 % off, and the original price was 99 SEK for bracelet and 149 SEK for necklace.

I'm going to London next week! And I'm visiting for the first time (can you believe it, at my 22 age). I already made plans for the entire trip, however, if any of you knows a good spot that shouldn't be missed, let me know in the comments below :)
